Steps for SOS has grown over the past few years thanks to your support! Our goal is to raise awareness and dollars to improve the lives of children living in foster care to ensure that they have a life filled with hope and promise.

This event offers something for everyone and all fitness levels. The 5K run/ walk is timed and runners will receive a medal for placement in various age categories. For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, the same 5k route will not disappoint! This is an excellent opportunity for employees, friends, and families to come together and make a difference.

There will be awards given to top individual and team fundraisers on the day of the event and throughout the campaign period. Be sure to read your emails as they contain information which will be helpful during the campaign. This summer we will offer “Pop in for Popcorn”, where you set a date and an SOS team member will come to your office and do a special recruiting event for your team.

The event includes a sponsor exhibit area, entertainment, breakfast, fitness, and lots of fun. You will also have an opportunity to meet some of the children whose lives you are helping to impact.

8:00am: Run/Walk Begins

9:30am: Post Event Activities Begin/ Awards Ceremony

Location: Tradewinds Park is located at 3600 W. Sample Rd. Coconut Creek, FL. The Run/walk will be held in the south side of the park (where Butterfly World is located).

Registration:

$25 For Runners

FREE: Walkers and children under 10

Raise a minimum of $100 and you will receive commemorative Steps for SOS T-Shirt.

TO BECOME AN SOS CHAMPION, RAISE $500 AND RECEIVE AN SOS CHAMPION MEDAL
